Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account information: if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password. Guest sessions have no email or password at all — just a random identifier on our server.

Profile details you choose to give us: a display name, your preferred language, notification preference, and, if you complete onboarding, a handful of self-selected topics used to lightly personalize your readings.

Reading content: the questions you type into a Tarot or Coffee reading, the cards drawn, and the generated interpretation.

Coffee cup photos you upload for a Coffee Reading, sent to our reading-generation service provider for analysis and stored as part of your reading history.

Credit and purchase records: your credit balance, the ledger of how it changed, and records of what you bought and through which store.

Basic technical data inherent to running the service, such as your IP address, used for abuse and rate-limit protection.

What we don't collect

We do not currently use any advertising or analytics tracking SDK in the app.

We never ask for or store payment card details ourselves — purchases are handled by Apple or Google; we only receive confirmation that a purchase happened.

How we use it

To generate your Tarot and Coffee readings, using your question or photos and, where relevant, a short summary of your recent readings for continuity.

To maintain your credit balance and reading history accurately.

To operate guest accounts, and to carry your credits and history over if you create a real account from a guest session.

To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Third parties we share data with

Our reading-generation service provider processes the text of your reading questions and, for Coffee Readings, your uploaded photos, to generate the interpretation.

Our database provider hosts your account, profile, and reading data.

Apple and Google, along with our purchase-management provider, process and verify in-app purchases and subscriptions. We receive confirmation of what was purchased, not your payment details.

We do not sell your data to anyone, for any purpose.

Data retention and deletion

Coffee cup photos are retained as part of your reading history for as long as your account exists.

If you delete your account in the app, your email address and password are removed immediately. Reading history and credit ledger records are retained on our servers rather than permanently erased — contact us if you'd like those fully removed as well.

Your choices

You can use VELURE as a guest without providing any personal information at all.

You can change your display name, language, and notification preference at any time in the app.

You can delete your account from the app at any time.

Children's privacy

VELURE is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International data transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data outside your home country. By using VELURE you understand your data may be processed in other jurisdictions.
